Uniper is seeking to fill the very unique position of Technician Coordinator. Main responsibilities include but not limited to hiring, training, and managing the vast division of Uniper technicians across the US. This is an excellent opportunity for an open, tech savvy, responsible person who has a desire to work and manage multiple types of gig-based employees, knowing how to use different ways to reach different people and maintaining various business relationships. The best similar example of a position like this, would be to work for a company like Uber, and overseeing their drivers in three small towns in the Midwest. The Technician Coordinator will manage technicians while creating a balance between the best Uniper experience for the clients, while making sure to meet the professional standards and company goals regarding installations and support visits.

  • Managing the technicians' schedule and providing support to their needs:
  • Training and hiring of new technicians.
  • Create and improve scripts for technicians.
  • Oversight of technicians' schedules on a territory-based level.
  • Creating internal communication channels.
  • Streamline operations to encourage a productive workflow.
  • Overseeing performance reports.
  • Dealing with customer service-related concerns relating to technicians’ visits
  • Create and maintain an FAQ for technical problem-solving.
  • Providing the operation assistance with technology-based hardware related needs

Job requirements

  • Must be flexible, open to learning, and have strong follow up skills
  • Tech Savvy, as the candidate will need to learn the ins and outs of the Uniper Platform and be able to relay this information to technicians.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, and outreach skills
  • Must be culturally sensitive and have a base knowledge of different cultures and traditions
  • Strong computer abilities to proficiently use: Zoom, Google Workspace, Excel, Tableau, Zendesk, and Internet research, at the same time!
